Advanced biofuel

Advanced biofuels are renewable fuels produced from non-food feedstocks, such as agricultural waste, forestry residues, used cooking oils, or non-food energy crops like algae.

Advanced biofuels are defined by their ability to reduce lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50% compared to fossil fuels and can utilise existing infrastructure for distribution.
